Debate Masters' Arena: Structured Debates & Argumentation

Debate Masters’ Arena: Structured Debates & Argumentation provides a platform for students to learn the guidelines around written and oral persuasion and argument, helping them to grow into being effective communicators. Over the course of the week students will work on research, personal persuasive pieces, and formal debate procedures, eventually building up to holding a formal presentation and debate as they develop their skills.

Currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts, she is dedicated to her community and using art as a vehicle for healing. Martina’s small business started as a global creative arts movement during its inception in 2017, and has since transformed into an award-winning social enterprise in 2022. Martina has facilitated impactful workshops for over 2,500 participants worldwide covering vital topics impacting today’s society. Additionally, she has presented her work and research for TedX, United Nations, Maryland General Assembly, and both Domestic and International Conferences. Symposium Explorers: Adventure Presentation

Journalists & Reporters is perfect for students who are interested in writing, reporting, and understanding the world around them! In this camp, students will learn about the basics of journalism, including the development of news media, and basic principles and practices of journalistic writing. Students will also work on writing their own stories using the principles they learn. In the Digital Presence – Creative Expression in The New Era camp, students will develop an understanding of the basics of creating online content. Students will create posts to fit different social media platforms. All projects will only be viewable offline.
